The work began in January 2019 due to the pressure of public opinion, and also because other previous restoration works ended up disfiguring some parts of the monument, causing a stir in social networks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The engineer Cheng Yongmao, who runs the operations in Jiankou for 15 years, praises the new method of restoration.
