{"id":887,"date":"2019-09-18T00:00:43","date_gmt":"2019-09-18T00:00:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/visit7wonders.com\/?p=887"},"modified":"2019-09-18T00:00:43","modified_gmt":"2019-09-18T00:00:43","slug":"peru-is-one-of-the-most-competitive-tourist-destinations-in-latin-america","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/visit7wonders.com\/es\/2019\/09\/18\/peru-is-one-of-the-most-competitive-tourist-destinations-in-latin-america\/","title":{"rendered":"Peru is one of the most competitive tourist destinations in Latin America"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">According to the latest Global Competitiveness Report, the country that hosts the ruins of Machu Picchu is one of the five most competitive destinations in Latin America, as highlighted by the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Export and Tourism (Promper\u00fa).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In the last four years, the country climbed nine positions in the global ranking (from 58 to 49) thanks to the growth obtained in pillars of the travel and tourism sector as infrastructure of tourism services and adequate policies in price competitiveness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00abFrom a total of 20 Latin American countries, Peru has managed to become one of the five best in tourism competitiveness, as well as improving worldwide in recent years.
