Between the 8th and 12th of March, Visit7Wonders was present at the ITB Berlin, the world’s leading travel trade fair and business platform for global touristic offers. Tourism suppliers from all the five continents and more than 180 countries attended the fair.
Visit7Wonders, the tourism portal that promotes the Wonders of the World, were one of the 10,000 exhibitors that took part in this international tourism fair. With more than 100,000 visitors per day, everyone had the opportunity to learn everything there is to enjoy in each of the 7 New Wonders of the World, the 7 Natural Wonders of the World and the 7 Cities Wonder of the World.
Lou Stokes, Marketing and International Relations Manager based in Madrid, was very happy with the results and productivity of the fair. “I had the opportunity to meet with different tour operators from all of the wonder destinations, and talked with many people such as Sabri Fdool, Director of Marketing for the historical city of Petra in Jordan, one of New 7 Wonders of the World. Our discussions focused on the best way to work together in order to promote Petra and the other wonders of the world.”
Other important meetings were held at the stand with the organization that promotes tourism in Komodo, Indonesia, Flores Tourism. Negotiations were initiated for future presentations at international travel trade fairs to promote tourism to Komodo National Park, one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World.
In addition, discussions were also held with Karem Zecca, Marketing Coordinator for Iguazu Falls in Brazil, with whom we will continue to work together with to promote tourism to Iguazu Falls, one of the natural 7 wonders shared with Argentina.
