The award-winning airports were announced in the latest edition of the prestigious Skytrax World Airport Awards, that reward architectural excellence and functionality, sustainability and technological innovation.
The jury of the awards evaluated the aesthetic and operational efficiency of airports, but also taking into account the opinion of 13 million selected users from more than 10 countries at the time of making the decision.
In a count of 100 airports, the Hamad International Airport in Doha Qatar, was chosen as number 4.
Among its luxuries, there is the largest VIP room in the world, squash courts, a spa with massage rooms and hydrotherapy pools, personal trainers, hotel inside the airport, family rooms, smoking areas, showers, Mac computers and free WIFI for its users.
