United Airlines announced the launch of new nonstop flight from the Newark-Liberty International Airport (EWR), the Cape Town Airfield (CPT), South Africa’s second largest city and home to Table Mountain, one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature.
The american airline will begin operating its flights to the African continent in December 2019, seeking to reduce the current travel time (JFK-CPT) as well as offer more variety of trips to its customers.
Cape Town is the oldest city in South Africa and the center of commerce of the country. Located on the shore of Table Bay, the city is home to some of the most popular attractions in South Africa, including Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden and the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.
