On August 9, the Great Wall of China International Photography Week 2019 was inaugurated in Beijing to display around 1,500 large-format photos of more than 300 photographers, according to the authorities.

Photographic works are exhibited along a 1.6 kilometer road in the Badaling section of the Great Wall, located in the Yanqing district of Beijing.

The exhibition has seven thematic exhibitions, one of them is made up of images of the Great Wall from 1850 to 1949 through works of museums, galleries, libraries and collectors, nationals and foreigners.

The works of 100 Chinese and foreign photographers with the theme of the Great Wall are gathered in another exhibition, in which visitors have the opportunity to perceive the different concepts of photography and their creative masterpieces.
