The Institute of Tourism Promotion (INPROTUR) of Argentina launched an innovative space for live broadcasts on the agency’s Instagram account @visitargentina due to coronavirus pandemic. Different personalities, athletes, musicians, artists and influencers from abroad tell their experiences of traveling along Argentina in an Instagram Live.

 

The Argentina Travel Talks started on April 9 and have an average of 2,500 participants in each talk. It should be noted that in Argentina there is one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, the Iguazú Falls, and that also has the national New 7 Natural Wonders.

 

“Since we started with Argentina Travel Talks, we have noticed that users are getting more excited and interested in our destinations. Those who have already visited us recall anecdotes and everything creates a pleasant and ideal climate for our promotion”, said the INPROTUR executive secretary Ricardo Sosa.

 

This type of digital promotion actions are part of a series of works carried out by INPROTUR to maintain Argentina’s position on the consumer’s agenda. The objective is to generate stimulation so that the country is prepared to reestablish its activity once the situations caused by the coronavirus pandemic have been overcome on the international scale.
