The Argentine Congress approved this week the Law of Sustainability and Reactivation of Tourism, which will seek to save the sector with different measures. Argentina is home to the Iguazú Falls, one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, and since last year of the Natural 7 Wonders of Argentina.

The project seeks to implement “measures for 180 days for the sustainability and productive reactivation of tourist activity”. The main objective is “to ease the economic, social and productive effect on tourism in all its forms due to the pandemic”.

This Tourism Reactivation Plan has “the purpose of sustaining and promoting employment and promoting the reactivation of the activity.”
