As one of the events that constitute the 2020 Beijing Great Wall Cultural Festival, the Great Wall Hero 2020 promotional event was held at the Badaling section with a new marketing campaign: “Visit Beijing Again”
It was organized by the Beijing Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau and was supported by Yanqing District Cultural Tourism Bureau, Badaling Special Zone Administrative Center, Air China, and China Plus.
Every year since 2013, the “Great Wall Heroes” global marketing campaign has invited foreign influencers to Beijing to experience the latest cultural tourism tours and products from the country that hosts one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, the Great Wall.
At the end of the event, the Beijing Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau presented the five foreign influencers with a certificate that names them “Great Wall Heroes” in recognition of their active efforts to promote Beijing and international cultural exchange.
