After almost six months of closure, this New 7 Wonder of the World will receive visitors starting next september 21.
As a way to respect hygienic measures, only 5,000 visitors will be allowed to visit on a daily basis. The authorities also announced that ticket counters will remain close, from now on all visitors must purchase tickets online.
“The Taj Mahal will reopen on September 21. All COVID-19 protocols, like physical distancing, masks and hand sanitizer stations will be followed,” northern Uttar Pradesh state’s Tourism Department deputy director Amit Srivastava told the media.
