The air movement will start this mid-September, with the resumption of international commercial flights to and from six Asian cities.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV), the flights from Guangzhou, Seoul, Vientiane, Phnom Penh, Taipei and Tokyo, would mean about 5,000 travelers arriving each week to the country that hosts one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, Halong Bay.
This is one of the policies adopted by Vietnam in an effort to revive its economic activities, especially tourism and transport. According to health ministry requirements, the visitors must still undergo two weeks of quarantine.
