Indonesian airlines are expanding their discounts and benefits in order to attract more tourists to the country home to one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, Komodo Island. 

 

The country’s Transportation Ministry launched a stimulus package worth Rp 216.5 billion for the aviation industry, as part of a plan that includes a passenger service charge exemption and a subsidy aimed at boosting demand to help the sector after de pandemic.

 

The CEO of one of the country’s low-cost carriers, Cititlink, stated that “in line with the government’s program, we are committed to fully supporting the implementation of the stimulus program, which aims to encourage people to travel safely and comfortably”
