The tech giant knows how big data can give the tourism sector a better understanding of how to adapt to the travel demand. In this sense, Google launched a new Travel Insights platform that puts search data at the service of the sector.
Google’s Destination Insights Tool allows businesses to know the top sources of demand for locations around the world. This can be used to reignite the tourism industry, since the search interest in travel is now at 50% of pre-pandemic levels.
Previously this year, Google launched the Hotel Insights tool and Google’s Flight Demand Explorer tool.
