According to the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB), the 2021 plan will focus on pursuing new channels to  attract more foreign visitors and to promote the Kingdom’s major tourist sites such as Petra, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.


The Jordan Tourism Board General Director, Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat, stated that the board will launch several different marketing channels that would be effective in increasing the number of tourists such as opening new business-to-business channels with global travel agencies. 


Arabiyat informed that the “Jordan Tourism Board’s 2021 marketing plan primarily focuses on restoring confidence in Jordan as a major tourist destination in the world, increasing awareness of Jordanian tourism products, and active branding”.
