The city that hosts the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls, one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, will open new duty-free stores with products sold in reais and priced at the official commercial exchange rate in dollars and paid in installments on the credit card up to six times.
In addition, tours to the Iguazú Falls, Itaipu Binacional, Paraguay and Argentina, among other tourist attractions on the tri-national border are guaranteed.
“Miami is here”, claimed a director of a Duty Free store that recently set up in a shopping center in Foz do Iguaçu. There are also plans to open four more “free shops” in the city with the same objective: to sell products of famous brands as well as wines from all over the world in the national territory.
