A recent research launched by the Visual Capitalist shows how the BEACH Stocks (booking, entertainment, airlines, cruises, and hotels) seem to be recovering one year after the World Health Organization declared the pandemic, giving hope to the entire tourism industry.

After an initial loss of USD 332 billion, the BEACH Stocks recovery shows a collective USD 376 billion gain in market cap and nearly half the companies trading at their respective all-time highs.

The research also points out that online betting is currently a leading sector in the recovery, while airlines and hotels can be included on the opposite trend.

Tourism industry experts also recognise that one of the key routes to growth, financial and otherwise, will result from the “Wonder Effect” positive rebound expected at the New 7 Wonders of the World, the New 7 Wonders of Nature and the National 7 Wonders.
