During Indonesia’s participation in the Arabian Travel Market, the country that hosts Komodo Island -one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature- announced its plans to reopen tourism starting next July.
According to Deputy Minister for Tourism Marketing, Nia Niscaya, “by participating in ATM Dubai 2021, outbound tourism’s leading global event, we are demonstrating that Indonesia is confident of maintaining its position as a world-class destination”.
Indonesia’s plan to restart tourism -and reopening borders in the upcoming months- is based on the vaccination programme as well as on the CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability) programme, which aims to certificate businesses, hotels and resorts to help them reopen safely while providing tranquility to visitors.
