The country that hosts the Great Wall of China, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, revealed the solid numbers in tourism for the first half of 2021 and doubles the expectation for the second half.
The report was made by the China Tourism Academy (CTA) and rolled out that 2.36 billion domestic trips were made from January to June, increasing by 153% the same period in 2020.
The report also showed that domestic tourism revenue reached US$301 billion during this period, up by 208% year on year, and that 84% of interviewed residents are willing to travel in the third quarter of the year.
