The country that hosts Machu Picchu, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, has announced that a total of 446 tourist attractions received the Safe Travel Stamp within 48 tourist destinations located across Peru.
In an official press release, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism stated that this achievement is the result of collaborative efforts made by public and private sectors in all regions throughout the country.
According to the minister, Claudia Cornejo, “the Safe Travels Stamp firmly contributes to the responsible and safe reopening of tourism, as well as the economy. Regaining the confidence of travelers is important, and this distinction will help us achieve such goal. I would like to underline the fact that we have reached the set target, which is important.
