Table Mountain, the New 7 Wonder of Nature located in South Africa, is once again nominated as Africa’s Leading Tourist Attraction as well as World’s Leading Tourist Attraction at the 2021 World Travel Awards.
In this sense, the Table Mountain Cableway Company has launched the “Bring it Home” campaign, aiming to get citizens and every tourist that ever visited the Wonder to vote for it. Participants have time to vote until midnight on 1 September 2021 on the awards official website.
The MD of the Table Mountain Cableway Company, Wahida Parker, stated that the votes of verified travel industry members count twice as much as those from the public and urged the entire travel industry to participate.
The World Travel Awards was established in 1993 “to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all key sectors of the travel, tourism and hospitality industries”. On its 28th anniversary, the globally recognized brand is expected to surpass the 2,033,494 votes recorded during the 2020 edition, representing a vote of confidence for the travel and tourism industry.
