As a way to promote the country’s culture around the world, the Korea Tourism Organization launched a Korean Culture online course for travellers visiting the home to Jeju Island, one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature.

The course is destined not only for holiday travellers but also for anyone who wants to visit South Korea for study or work as well as for those who want to learn more about the country. It costs US$ 32 and has five modules explaining the nation’s geography, cities, daily life, etiquettes, among others.

During the launch of the course, the Director of Korea Tourism Organisation, Young-Geul Choi, told the press that “until regular travel resumes, the Korea Travel Organization will keep on bringing new and exciting activities and experiences for Korea fans to help spread the Korean culture and increase the affinity towards South Korea when it comes to travel. Though Korean films & dramas have already offered a glimpse of Korea, we think that a comprehensive one-of-its-kind course like this will give a better understanding of the country to anyone who would like to travel there in the future”.
