The New 7 Wonder of the World located in China now can be visited through the latest Google Arts & Culture virtual tour that offers an immersive look of the Great Wall.

The “Walk the Great Wall” is the result of a joint work between the Arts and Cultures Program, Wall expert Dong Yaohui, and curators from the Gubei Water Town. The tour offers 360° views as well as messages and patterns carved into the walls and general information.

In the online presentation, the Google Arts & Cultures program manager, Pierre Caessa, wrote that “as the largest man-made structure in the world, the Great Wall of China is one of the most iconic and popular heritage sites anywhere. Over 10 million people visit each year—but not everyone has the opportunity to see the Great Wall first-hand. Today, Google Arts & Culture presents a new theme page enabling people to visit the Great Wall virtually”.
