After 20 months with the borders closed, the country that hosts the Puerto Princesa Underground River -one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature- will welcome back fully-vaccinated foreign tourists.
The measure will apply from December 1 and will be for fully vaccinated tourists from 157 countries who will not be quarantined if they present a test negative before their flight and if they have not travelled to countries with high infection rates in the previous two weeks.
Among the countries allowed, the list includes Manila’s remaining top-10 tourism sources, such as the United States, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Canada, Britain, and Germany. The new disposition also resumes the visa-free travel for short visits of under 30 days to nationals from the 157 countries who already enjoyed permit-free entry before the pandemic.
