The city that hosts Table Mountain, one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, announced the launch of a Pocket-Friendly campaign for domestic travellers for the second year in a row.

According to the authorities, the launch of the domestic campaign includes discounts on flights, accommodation, and attractions in Cape Town.

The campaign also features the Pocket-Friendly Challenge, “a friendly competition between four groups in six locations around Cape Town to see just how much R150 per person can get you in the Mother City” in a series of six videos.

According to the newly elected mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis, “our launch event today is testament to the quick-thinking creativity of our tourism teams, and is testament to our City’s commitment to doing what we can to help the tens of thousands of Capetonians who work in tourism to thrive in this difficult time”.
