The Iguazú Falls, one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, close this 2023 with more than 1.5 million visits.

The Iguazu Falls, located 70% of the Argentine side and 30% of the Brazilian side, have established themselves in the last decade as a favorite destination in the region.

Only on the Argentine side, this destination that is part of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, closes this 2023 with more than 1.5 million visits. While on the Brazilian side they approach the 2 million tourists to close the year.

Despite the extraordinary flood that the Iguazú River presented at the end of October and caused the closure of the park for several days, the fate maintained a high level of visitation.

After almost a week of validity of this measure, the Iguazú National Park reopened access to the public, after an exhaustive review of the technicians.

But from the concessionaire of the services they reported that the ride to the Devil’s throat is still closed, where the restoration and repair works continue to be carried out in the catwalks that were totally destroyed by the flood of the river.

The Iguazú National Park opens every day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the authorized circuits are: upper, lower, green path and Macuco path.

It should be noted that the end of the year holidays and January 1, 2024, as well as the other 2024 holidays, the park will remain open in its usual schedule.
