On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, Vietnam Airlines inaugurated the air route that connects the Vietnamese city of Hanoi with the Chinese city of Chengdu. On the occasion, they announced that there are promotional offers on the tickets until July 31.
“We are delighted to introduce flights between Hanoi and Chengdu. The inaugural flight from Hanoi to Chengdu, VN 552, took off from Noi Bai International Airport at 23:00 on June 25, and the return flight, VN 553, left Chengdu at 03:05 on June 26. The passengers of the inaugural flights were greeted with flowers, gifts and a special welcome at the airport,” said from Vietnam Airlines.
This new service, which arises from the existing demand, will work four times a week, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Flights to Chengdu will land at Tianfu International Airport, one of the largest airports in China, known for its unique design, installation and world-class service.
This new route will allow passengers to explore the rich history, the cultural heritage, the unique cuisine of both regions, and the tourist beauties that both destinations propose. Tourists from Vietnam and China, highlighted in that sense the spectacular landscapes of Ha Long Bay, one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature since 2011, which is located in the vicinity of Hanoi.
On the other hand, and with respect to this new flight, Vietnam Airlines highlighted that they offer promotional prices for round-trip tickets from only 221 dollars.
The program applies to tickets purchased between these days and July 31, for trips departing from now until July 31 of this year.
