Highlighting Chichen Itza, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, and one of the favorite places of tourists visiting Mexico.

Rodríguez Zamora said that in the case of Yucatan, this concept translates into projects such as the strengthening of the Magic Towns of Valladolid, Izamal, Maní and Sisal, which have reported increases in their economic spill, thanks to digitization and promotion initiatives such as those that have been promoted throughout the country.

He stated that these regional and national efforts have been joined by the emblematic Mayan Train, which boosts tourism in Yucatan by connecting key destinations such as Mérida and Chichen Itzá, which promotes community tourism, generates opportunities for the productive sector and will increase the regional tourist influx by about 30%.
