The New 7 Wonders of the World and the New 7 Wonders of Nature will meet in January at Fitur Madrid 2025, one of the most important Tourism Fairs in the world.

The new edition of the International Tourism Fair, better known as Fitur, will take place from January 22 to 26, 2025 at the Ifema Madrid fairgrounds.

A meeting that takes place over five days and welcomes in the same space both professionals from the tourism sector and those interested in the latest trends in the sector, as well as the general public interested in knowing the destinations offered that can visit the fair during the weekend, among them will be the New 7 Wonders of the World and the New 7 Wonders of Nature, promoted by each country where these beautiful destinations are located.

The 2025 edition will have Brazil as a partner country. Brazil, in addition to having warm beaches, is the owner of 3 places of Wonder: Christ the Redeemer – one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, the Amazon (shared between several South American countries) and the Iguazu Falls (20% are on the Brazilian side and 80% on the Argentine side).

From the organization of Fitur Madrid they expressed that “this is the global meeting point for tourism professionals and the leading fair for the receptive and issuing markets of Latin America.”

It is a global reference event in the tourism sector that includes great diversity and talent, making it possible for fully specialized areas to exist within this meeting.

The fair continues to advance in its line of specialization, contributing to promoting the different industrial sectors that impact tourism and that have developed an entire tourism strategy around their activity.

For this reason, the traditional specialized sections will not be missing at this great event:

– Fitur Techy, organized in collaboration with the Hotel Technology Institute (ITH)

– Fitur Know-How & Export, organized by SEGITTUR in collaboration with ICEX Spain Export and Investments.

– Fitur Lgbt will address different topics with the aim of revitalizing tourism and promoting the diversity of the different destinations under the slogan “Love for traveling”.

– Fitur Lingua in collaboration with the Spanish Federation of Associations of Spanish Schools for Foreigners, Fedele.

– Fitur Talent will highlight talent and training as drivers of tourism development

– Fitur Woman will focus its debate on the role of women in the world of work in the tourism industry

– Fitur Screen, dedicated to connecting the tourism and audiovisual industry, in collaboration with Spain Film Commission.

– Fitur Mice, the days before the opening of Fitur.

– Fitur Cruises focused on the cruise industry

– Fitur Sports focused on the global sports tourism market

 

FITUR 2024 Review

Global influence has been one of the key aspects of the 44th edition of Fitur Madrid, which was especially boosted by the participation of 152 countries and 96 official representations (20 more than in 2023).

The review showed a total attendance of 250,000 visitors: more than 153,000 professionals and 97,000 people from the general public (an increase of 13.7% compared to 2023) with 806 main exhibitors, 9 pavilions, and the work carried out by the FITURNEXT Observatory as a channel for the sustainable commitment of the International Tourism Fair.
