In 2024, Quang Ninh attracted 19 million tourists, a year-on-year increase of 20 percent. Of this figure, foreign visitors were 3.5 million and revenues from tourist services reached 1.89 billion dollars.

The main attraction of Quang Ninh Province, in northern Vietnam, is Ha Long Bay, one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature in the world. And for this 2025, the goal was to serve 20 million tourists, including 4.5 million international visitors.

The main markets of the province are: China, South Korea, Taiwan (China), United States, France, Australia, United Kingdom, Germany and Japan.

According to Nhan Dan, to meet this goal, Quang Ninh deploys a plan to develop the province as a tourist center that connects the region and the world by 2030, with a vision to 2045; and with emphasis on the development of products, market, connection of tourist destinations between localities, taking advantage of the advantages of transport.

In addition, the province focuses on attracting investments in tourism and service projects, developing golf courses according to planning; building key tourist centers in Ha Long, Cam Pha, Van Don, Mong Cai, Uong Bi and Co To; and innovating and improving the quality and competitiveness of products and services.

At the same time, it is committed to promoting tourism promotion, developing flights through Van Don International Airport and maritime tourism routes; diversifying tourist products, including island, community, cultural, historical and spiritual tourism.
