Opening its participation in tourist fairs in 2025, the Iguazu Falls – one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, will participate in the 45th International Tourism Fair (Fitur), one of the largest tourism fairs in the world, which will be held from January 22 to 26 in Madrid, Spain.

Recognized as a global showcase of the tourism sector, Fitur Madrid is of greatest relevance and international participation, and opens the annual calendar of tourist fairs around the world, bringing together tourist destinations, tour operators, travel agencies, airlines and tourist service providers from around the world, giving them the opportunity to negotiate directly.

The destination Iguazú will be present in the large stand of Visit Argentina, located in Pavilion P03, along with other destinations in the country that will seek to position themselves in the great tourist glass window.

In this context, the president of Iturem, Leopoldo Lucas, explained that “for the destination Iguazú, the fair represents an opportunity to present the tourist offer of Iguazú as a destination of nature and sustainability, it also contributes to consolidating its positioning as one of the main destinations in Argentina, as well as strengthening and expanding its presence in the Spanish and European tourism market.”

And he added “it is known that Europe is one of the main sending centers of international tourists to Iguazú. And we have the Iguazu Falls – one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature in the world, and the only one in the country. The Iguazu Falls are among the most exclusive destinations for Europeans who like to travel, so reinforcing the promotion for that public is one of the most important objectives for our participation in the fair.”
