Dazzled by the strength of the Iguazu Falls, one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature in the World, Francis Ford Coppola expressed his amazement on social networks with a photo. The legendary director of the “The Godfather” trilogy praised the strength of this Wonder of Nature and aroused a wave of comments from fans who recalled his link with Argentina.

In this way, Francis Ford Coppola, who won five Oscars, was shocked by the Iguazu Falls and its jungle environment.

The author of Tetro, Apocalypse Now, Rumble Fish and The Conversation shared it on his social networks.

Immediately, the fans reacted with comments. One of them wrote: “ARGENTINA MISSES YOU ❤️? ￰”, in reference to the director’s connection with the country.

In recent times, Coppola was once again in the center of the scene for his long-awaited film Megalopolis, a production financed with own resources. The film received various criticisms, between controversial and negative. However, the director himself published a review on his Letterboxd account, in which he gave him five stars.

Recently, the director also received a Razzie award, the so-called “anti-Oscar” for the worst direction. Far from being upset, he shared his emotion on Instagram:

“In this tone world, where ART is given ratings as if it were professional wrestling, I chose NOT to follow the cowardly rules imposed by an industry so terrified of risk.”

And he closed with a message to his team and a final reflection: “My most sincere thanks to all my brilliant colleagues who joined me to make our work of art, Megalopolis, and let’s remember that the box office is only about money, and that, like war, stupidity and politics, it has no real place in our future.”
