With the best expectations, the Iguazú Falls will participate in the International Tourism Fair of Latin America (FIT 2025), the most relevant event in the sector in the region, which this year will bring together 55 countries, from September 27 to 30 in La Rural de Buenos Aires.

With its own stand within the international space, the destination Iguazú, with the Iguazú Falls – one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature in the World – as the maximum attraction, will seek to position its tourist offer globally, highlighting the natural, cultural and gastronomic wealth of the destination.

The president of the Municipal Tourism of Iguazú (ITUREM), Leopoldo Lucas, stressed that “this fair represents a strategic opportunity to show the world everything that Iguazú has to offer. We are going to deploy a comprehensive proposal that aims to generate tourism and work throughout the year.”

And he detailed that during the four days of the event, different promotional activities and interactive activations will be developed at the stand, including:

– Tastings of regional products, such as fried cassava, alfajores of yerba mate and passion fruit, typical sweets, Yerba Mate Andresito and Yerba La Reina de las Misiones.

– A photographic space with the emblematic Garganta del Diablo, specially designed so that visitors can take pictures and share them on social networks, taking with them a part of Iguazú.

– Presence of the private sector, with 10 desks of personalized attention, perfectly designed so that local companies can establish commercial links and promote their services in a professional and comfortable environment.

“Iguazú is nature all year round”

In addition, on Monday, September 29 at 5 pm, an official presentation of the destination will be held at the FIT auditorium, under the title “Iguazú is nature all year round”, where news, strategic actions and the future vision of local tourism development will be shared.

Iguazú’s participation in the FIT seeks not only to strengthen its position as one of the most visited destinations in the country, but also to strengthen the connection with international markets, consolidating a sustained growth of tourism during the four seasons
