Thousands of participants approached the innovative Stand, located in the international space of the International Tourism Fair of Buenos Aires (FIT 2025), looking for information and expressing a marked interest in the city that houses the Iguazu Falls – one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature in the World.

In the 29th edition of the International Tourism Fair of Buenos Aires (FIT 2025), which took place from September 27 to 30 on the premises of the Rural, a large number of professional and non-professional visitors were able to enjoy an immersive experience at the Iguazu destination stand.

In addition to promoting the Iguazú Falls – one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature in the World – and the other attractions of the destination, tastings of typical products such as the traditional fried cassava, yerba mate alfajores, very missionary mates, regional sweets, in addition to gifts, raffles and a photography space that invited you to take a souvenir of the destination.

The participation of Iguazú was described as highly successful, consolidating its positioning as one of the most attractive destinations in the region. In this regard, the president of the Iguazú Tourism Entity (Iturem), Leopoldo Lucas, highlighted the importance of this presence, highlighting the commitment to the promotion of a constantly growing destination, where tourism development translates into more job opportunities for its people.

He also commented that during the Fair, thousands of participants approached the innovative Stand, located in the international space of the International Tourism Fair of Buenos Aires (FIT 2025), looking for information and expressing a marked interest in the place.

Lucas highlighted that among the outstanding activities, an institutional presentation of the Iguazú destination was held in the FIT auditorium, within the space of Visit Portugal, a guest country in this edition.

In addition, the stand received a visit from the Governor of Misiones- Hugo Passalacqua- who accompanied one of the most relevant announcements of the event: the new air route Iguazú – Lima – Iguazú, which will begin operating from December 1, strengthening the international connectivity of the destination.

In this context, the head of Iturem said that “these actions reaffirm that Iguazú continues to consolidate itself as one of the main tourist destinations in the Argentine Republic and the region, and also improves its positioning abroad, always highlighting its combination of nature, culture, first-class services, exquisite flavors and a promotion strategy that values the full potential of the region.”

In this way, the Iguazú destination, with the Iguazú Falls as the greatest attraction, closed an excellent participation in the most important tourist window in Latin America. FIT 2025 received more than 140,000 visitors this year, in an unprecedented business climate. There were 59 countries and representations, with more than 1,900 national and international exhibitors, and almost 11,000 business meetings took place, only through the FIT B2B platform.
