Philippine Airlines (PAL) will use Airbus A330-300 aircraft for the Manila-Princess Puer route, starting December 17. In this way, PAL will operate its Airbus A330 on this route three times a week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the airline announced in a press release.

Departures from Manila are scheduled for 5:30 a.m. and arrival in Puerto Princesa at 7:00 a.m., while return flights will depart from Puerto Princesa at 8:10 a.m. and arrive in Manila at 10:00 a.m.

This action responds to the demand of the destination, Puerto Princesa stands as the gateway to the world-famous Underground River National Park, declared a World Heritage Site and one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature.

The PAL A330-300 offers a total of 363 seats, configured to meet various needs of travelers: 18 seats in business class, 33 seats in comfort class and 312 seats in economy class.

“The use of our fleet of wide-fuselage aircraft on flights to Puerto Princesa will improve operational efficiency, overall customer satisfaction and provide Palawan residents with more opportunities to explore the Philippines and the rest of the world,” said Roland Narciso, senior vice president of the PAL operations group.

“We have been working closely with the airport authorities for a smooth transition to wide-body aircraft operations in Puerto Princesa,” Narciso added.

PAL indicated that passengers from select international destinations can connect with Puerto Princesa through the airline’s connection center in Manila, maximizing travel comfort and flexibility.

The airline indicated that it operates A330 aircraft throughout its national and international network, which guarantees a constant standard of comfort and service for all passengers. In addition, the deployment of the A330 will also increase the load capacity, which will facilitate the movement of goods and provide greater opportunities for companies to transport goods efficiently.
