On May 7, 2019, by popular vote, the main natural landscapes of the country were elected. In 2018, the New7Wonders Foundation together with Visit7Mar started a voting campaign to select the Seven Argentine Natural Wonders.

The process had the participation of more than 1 million Argentines, with 417 attractions candidates for the public vote and specialists. After the campaigns conducted by the candidates and more than 1 million votes, on May 7, 2019, the official list of those selected was released.

Those chosen were:

Perito Moreno Glacier – Los Glaciares National Park, province of Río Negro and province of Santa Cruz.

Nahuel Huapi National Park – province of Neuquén and province of Río Negro.

Talampaya National Park – Rioja province.

Mina Clavero River – province of Córdoba.

Bañado la Estrella, province of Formosa.

Salinas Grandes, Jujuy province

Misiones Jungle, province of Misiones.

In addition to positioning themselves as first-level tourist destinations, these wonders play a fundamental role in environmental awareness and the promotion of conservation. In these 7 years, each of these destinations have become engines of local development and points of attraction for visitors from all over the world, who come to discover landscapes as diverse as subtropical wetlands, imposing glaciers, ancestral salt groves or the imposing jungle with its rich flora and fauna.
