The ITB Tourism Fair Berlin 2026 will take place from March 3 to 5, with all the space completely reserved, where it will have the participation of exhibitors from more than 160 countries. Angola will act as the host country, underlining Africa’s emerging role in global tourism.

This year the motto of the Fair is “Leading tourism towards balance”, and will have 400 speakers who will address critical issues such as AI, agentic commerce and regenerative tourism strategies. In this edition, the Travel Technology segment will have six complete pavilions, where leaders such as Amadeus, VISA and Stripe will exhibit solutions focused on payments and technological innovation. In addition, the new ITB Talent Hub will focus on workforce development and recruitment, addressing staff shortages in the industry.

At the event, several of the New 7 Wonders of the World and the New 7 Wonders of Nature will be present.

 

More from the ITB Berlin 2026

The fair reflects the dynamism of international markets with very marked trends:

Americas: With a strong presence of the United States, Canada and Mexico, the region uses Berlin as a launch pad for the upcoming ITB Americas event in Guadalajara.

Europe: The European bloc maintains its relevance with Italy, Greece and Spain in the lead, in addition to a special exhibition of posters that celebrates the tourist heritage of the continent.

Asia and the Middle East: Show the most solid growth. Thailand is positioned as the largest exhibitor, while countries such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates occupy large-scale pavilions.

It should be remembered that last year this Fair brought together 5,800 exhibitors from 170 countries and filled the exhibition halls of the venue, while the attendees were 87% international.

Participants included everything from tourism boards, travel technology companies and hotel brands to cruise companies, transport providers and tour operators, all of them presenting their latest offers and innovations.
