The Wonder City of La Paz is worldwide known for its contrasts between the landscapes that coexist there, on the one hand the multitudinous city and on the other, the mountains that surround it. Last week, the tenth line of the La Paz cable car was launched, which has the distinction of being the highest in the world.
It took seven years of work and 740 million dollars contributed by the State, said the manager of the state company Mi Teleférico, César Dockweiler. He also said that “it’s the only cableway that works as a mean of public transport in the world and that places Bolivia in a privileged place in the solution to urban mobility. It reduced by 30% the accidents of public transport, pollution and helps to save gasoline”.
