In the country of the Iguazú Falls, one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature of the world, as well
as home to the national Natural 7 Wonders of Argentina, the national government is analyzing strategies, measures and recommendations to reactivate tourist activity in the territory for the summer season and until a vaccine is available.
In this regard, the Minister of Tourism and Sports, Matías Lammens, said that “we have great expectations: tourism is an activity that generates more than a million jobs and, for many regional economies, it is decisive that we have a summer season”.
The meetings are working on the gradual return of medium and long-distance transport to reach the summer season in full operation, as well as with cabotage flights. Another topic of discussion is the importance of health control of passengers in private transport, since 7 out of 10 Argentines travel this way.
