Peru’s national government is maintaining a lockdown until February 14th to contain the spread of the virus and in regions under high alert, visits to museums and archaeological monuments, such as the Wonder of the World Machu Picchu, are closed to the public.

 

According to the Ministry of Culture, from the second half of February museums and archaeological monuments within regions under high alert will be allowed to operate, but at 50% its capacity.

 

Local authorities informed that those who purchased tickets for the restricted dates will be able to reschedule their visits throughout the year or get a refund.
