The country that hosts the Great Wall, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, reopened its Beijing borders to Philippine citizens inoculated with the Chinese vaccine showing the entire tourism industry what the new normal in travel might look like.
An official statement launched by the Chinese government points out that “to resume orderly cross-border travel, China will make facilitation arrangements for visa applicants who have been fully vaccinated by Chinese COVID-19 vaccines with vaccination certificates”.
The Philippines, meanwhile, is beginning to reactivate its travel sector with the reopening of famous tourist attractions to domestic visitors such as the Puerto Princesa Underground River, one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature.
