The country that hosts one side of the Iguazu Falls -one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature- seeks to strengthen commercial relations with China, home to the Great Wall and one of the largest tourist markets in the world.

The executive secretary of the National Institute for Tourism Promotion (INPROTUR), Ricardo Sosa, led a meeting with the Argentina-China Chamber of Production, Industry and Commerce with the idea of creating greater and better strategies for attracting travelers from China.

During the meeting the parties discussed topics related to the acceleration of the visa process thanks to the Electronic Travel Authorization; the reconditioning of the infrastructure and improvements in air connectivity.

According to Sosa, “when sanitary conditions allow it, Argentina will be one of the great protagonists of the future tourism thanks to its great offer related to nature. For this reason, it will be essential to work with the Chinese market, so that tourists know that in our country we have solid options to live a safe and unforgettable experience”.
