The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) announced the resumption of regular international flights next July to the country home to Ha Long Bay, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.

The schedule follows the three-phase plan proposed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, in which the first only allows charter flights for Vietnamese citizens. Since the country managed to control the case growth, the CAAV announced the start of phase two starting in July.

During the second phase international flights from Japan, the Republic of Korea and Taiwan will be resumed with mandatory quarantine for every passenger as well as several negative tests. The country expects to receive 24 flights and nearly 7.000 visitors every week.

The third phase is expected to be implemented in September, but authorities stated that it will depend on the vaccination progress since it will imply regular flights carrying passengers into Vietnam that do not require post-entry isolation with “vaccine passports” applied.
