One of the world’s most important travel fairs opened its doors to receive tourism exponents for the first time since the start of the pandemic, showing the power of the sector. This FITUR edition will be held in Madrid from 19 to 23 May and will lead the way for the following fairs since it will be the first to return to presence with strict protocols.
The 2020 edition was the last global in-person trade fair to take place before the pandemic and it surpassed its participation record with 11.040 companies from 165 countries and over 111.089 visitors.
This year’s edition will have strict sanitary and health protocols in order to guarantee safety for every attendant, including online registration, the request of negative PCR or antigen tests as well as anti-corona control measures at the exhibition centre.
