The governor of Yucatán, Mauricio Vila Dosal, launched a new tourism campaign that aims to spread health measures while inviting citizens to travel through the state -home to Chichén Itzá, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.
In a colorful video posted in his social media, Vila Dosal presented the #StayInYucatan campaign in an attempt to show yucatecans (and the rest of the world) all tourism destinations and traditions to discover and enjoy. The government also announced a new official website where citizens can contact certified tourist agencies that comply with health protocols, as well as information and travel offers.
“I invite you to rediscover #Yucatan, enjoy its colors, flavors, and traditions, maintaining prevention measures, and taking care of our health. Our state has the perfect option for everyone, that’s why you must #StayInYucatan”, stated the governor.
