The president of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, met last monday in Havana with the Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, Pham Binh Minh, who made an official visit to the island, home to one of the Wonder cities.
Both leaders discussed the excellent state of relations between the two countries and ratified the willingness to expand trade, economic and cooperation ties. The Cuban foreign minister said that the ties “are going well and have a promising future”, while he stressed the importance for the island of exchanges “in the experiences of socialist construction”.
