The country home to the Taj Mahal, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, announced a new air route that will connect it with the Maldives, a key market in India’s tourism industry.

The flying airlines will be Go First and IndiGo and will initially offer flights twice a week from Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai to Malé starting next July 15.

International passengers will be asked to carry a negativePCR test report before entering the countries as well as fill in a health declaration form, but there won’t be mandatory quarantines.
