The country that hosts Jeju Island, one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, continues working on its plan to promote tourism while spreading its culture around the world. This time, the Korea Tourism Organization launched a news edition of the “Feel the Rhythm of Korea” video series, where it mixes Korean hip-hop and traditional folk music.
The brand new serie counts with eight videos of less than two minutes long and introduces traditional and modern attraction in ten cities with the participation of popular musicians of each destination: Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Gyeongju in North Gyeongsang Province, Tongyeong in South Gyeongsang Province, Andong in North Gyeongsang Province, Seosan, Suncheon in South Jeolla Province and Gangneung and Yangyang, both in Gangwon Province.
According to brand marketing team director at the Korean Tourism Organization, Oh Choong-sub, “in collaboration with renowned Korea hip-hop musicians, this promotion video will be our first attempt in using sonic branding tourism for viewers to recognize each region through music”.
