Mexico continues consolidating itself not only as a premium tourist destination but also in the congress and convention industry. In this sense, the latest edition of the World Meetings Forum (WMF) was held in the Mexican Caribbean, in the region of Chichen Itza, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.
The 2021 edition was carried out on November 29 and 30 at the Hilton Cancun All Inclusive and counted with speakers from Mexico, the United States, Panama, Colombia, and Brazil.
The WMF is one of the most important events in the meeting tourism industry and was born with the aim of providing a space with the best academic content, business appointment schedule, and unique experiences.
The director of WMF, Rafael Hernández, explained that “the objective of this forum is to promote tourism in national and international destinations through the meeting of the best business travel companies, DMC (Destination Management Companies), incentives travel agencies, and meeting planners, with all the supply of each destination for events and trips”.
