The Iguazú National Park on the Brazilian side closed November with more than 192,000 visitors and on the Argentine side closed November with almost 130,000. So far in 2024, more than 1,700,000 tourists have been registered on the Brazilian side and about 1,300,000 on the Argentine side.

From Urbia Cataratas, the concessionaire company of the services in the Iguazú National Park (Brazil) said that the movement in the Iguazú Falls, on the Brazilian side, increased by 26% compared to 2023, registering the second best November in history.

“The Iguazú National Park, cradle of the Iguazú Falls, recorded the visit of 192,796 people in November, marking a significant increase of 26% compared to the same month last year, when it received 152,573 tourists,” they said.

And they added “from January to November 2024, the Conservation Unit has already reached the mark of 1,703,243 visitors, higher than the 1,666,120 registered in the same period as 2023.”

There were 128 nationalities represented in these numbers. Among the countries that were most present, Brazilians are still the majority, accounting for 60% of visits. The foreigners who visited the most after Brazil came from Argentina, the United States, Spain, Paraguay, Germany and France.

On the other hand, from the Iguazú National Park (Argentina) they reported that in November with 129,040 people who toured the place, with the majority of Argentines and the remaining proportion coming from Mercosur, Europe and the United States.

While the cumulative of visitors from January 1 to November 30, was 1,230,048.

The Iguazu Falls are one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature since November 2011. The 275 jumps that make them up make the place a unique destination, surrounded by a leafy jungle, which impacts tourists from all over the world.
