United Airlines announced the launch of new nonstop flight from the Newark-Liberty International Airport (EWR), the Cape Town Airfield (CPT), South Africa’s second largest city and home to Table Mountain, one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature.
The american airline has already requested the Department of Transportation of the United States permission to carry out three weekly flights on this route, which is scheduled for the December 2019, seeking to reduce the current travel time (JFK-CPT) as well as offering more variety of trips to its customers.
Cape Town is the oldest city in South Africa and the center of commerce of the country. Located on the shore of Table Bay, the city is home to some of the most popular attractions in South Africa, including Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden and the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.
